Cathy is a medical illustrator based in Toronto, Ontario who currently attends the University of Toronto for her master’s degree in biomedical communications. She previously attended the University of Toronto for a degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology (2024), completing research on characterization of behavioural phenotypes in patient derived mouse models with GRIN Disorder. Now, she has moved away from the lab bench and towards visualizing complex scientific material. 

Cathy has previously created visuals to aid instructions for a course in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Toronto, and is a biomedical communications production editor for Toronto Notes, a comprehensive medical review that is revised annually. She loves to tackle complex medical and scientific communications.
